Refund Policy

All lessons, lesson packages, products, and services purchased through Scottsdale Dance Lessons are final sale and non-refundable after the applicable statutory cancellation period, except as otherwise required by law.

Each appointment represents dedicated time reserved exclusively for our clients. Our policies are designed to maintain the highest standards of personalized service, scheduling availability, and professional instruction.

Clients retain all cancellation and refund rights provided under applicable Arizona law, including the statutory cancellation period for dance studio contracts.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a forfeited lesson with no refund, except where otherwise required by law or approved by management.

  • Rescheduling: Lessons may be rescheduled without penalty when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided, subject to instructor availability.

  • Missed Appointments: Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will result in the session being forfeited.

  • Unused Sessions: If a client purchases a lesson package but does not complete all sessions, no refunds will be issued for unused lessons after the applicable statutory cancellation period, except as required by law.

  • Exceptional Circumstances: Medical emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances may be reviewed at management’s discretion, subject to applicable legal requirements.

 

Expiration of Lessons, Packages, and Services

  • Package Validity: All private lessons and lesson packages, including packages of up to 10 lessons, are valid for 12 months (one year from the date of purchase), subject to applicable Arizona law. After this period, any remaining sessions may expire to the extent permitted by law.

  • Seasonal Residents & Snowbirds: We understand that many of our clients reside in Scottsdale seasonally. Extensions may be granted upon request to accommodate seasonal travel and allow unused lessons to carry over into the following Scottsdale season.

  • Extensions: Additional extensions may be considered for medical circumstances, extended travel, or other exceptional situations. Extensions must be approved by management.

 

Products

All products purchased, including third-party products and retail items sold in-studio or online, are final sale and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

 

Studio-Initiated Cancellations

If Scottsdale Dance Lessons needs to cancel a scheduled appointment, clients will be offered the opportunity to reschedule at no additional charge.

If a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, any refund or other remedy required by applicable law or the lesson agreement will be provided.
