Alex Maslanka
Founder
Alex Maslanka is a distinguished ballroom and Latin dancer who has made a significant impact on the dance community in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since relocating to Arizona three years ago, Alex has shared his expertise with dancers of all ages and skill levels, drawing from his extensive training with world-class professionals, many of whom are world champions.
Natalie Crandall
Dance Instructor
Natalie began her ballroom dance journey at just six years old, raising through the competitive ranks, turning professional at 23. Her dedication and artistry earned her numerous national and international titles as an amateur, and in a groundbreaking year, she secured three professional U.S. National Championship titles at once.
Elijah Armstead
Dance Instructor
Elijah started his dance journey in 2008 where he first discovered Latin and Ballroom dancing at ASU. He quickly fell in love with every partner dance he could find, and started competing on the collegiate Dancesport Team. Everything from Cha Cha, Tango, Salsa, Waltz, Swing, Country, Bachata and 14 other dances!
Caleb Morris
Dance Instructor
Caleb Morris is a country swing dance instructor and active competitor in Arizona’s country dance community. Known for his strong lead, musicality, and ability to break down technique in a simple, approachable way, Caleb has built a reputation for helping dancers of all levels gain confidence on the floor.
Caroline Skaar
Dance Instructor
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Caroline is a full-time dance instructor and WSDC All-Star West Coast Swing competitor. She is also a two-time runner-up at the Bachata Stars Norwegian Championships. In addition to her dance training, Caroline holds a Comprehensive Pilates Certification, providing her with extensive knowledge of body mechanics, alignment, muscle integration, and movement efficiency.
Arina Maslanka
Operations Manager
Arina Maslanka is the Operations Manager of Scottsdale Dance Lessons, where she oversees client experience, scheduling, instructor coordination, and day-to-day operations with a strong focus on organization, quality, and care. Originally from Ukraine, Arina has a background in Journalism and Communications, with a focus on media marketing and public relations.
